IJAWR is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Scholar Unity, New Delhi. It provides a scholarly platform for original research on animals of every kind, from insects and birds to fish, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, and supports the exchange of knowledge among researchers, academicians, zoologists, wildlife biologists, entomologists, fisheries scientists, veterinarians, doctoral scholars, and students.
The journal welcomes original contributions on all areas of animal and wildlife research, including field-based, experimental, theoretical, computational, and interdisciplinary studies. Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment followed by peer review, in line with the journal's editorial policies, promoting responsible scholarly communication, research integrity, and transparency throughout.

Editorial & Publishing Standards
IJAWR follows established editorial and peer-review procedures for evaluating submitted manuscripts. Authors are expected to submit original scholarly work, provide accurate references and appropriate attribution of field data, specimens, datasets, and secondary sources, and comply with the journal's publication ethics and editorial requirements. Studies involving animals or protected species must carry appropriate ethical approval and, where applicable, research permits.
The journal provides dedicated information on peer review, publication ethics, copyright and licensing, manuscript submission, author requirements, and other publishing policies to support a clear and responsible publication process.
IJAWR does not consider manuscripts that promote or provide instructions for poaching, illegal wildlife trade, animal cruelty, or other harmful or unlawful practices, or that contain defamatory, hateful, or abusive content. Academic research on sensitive topics, such as wildlife crime, animal welfare, and invasive species management, is welcome when presented with legitimate scholarly rigor.
